Today i fished the Bream Tri Series round 1 with WSBB. First up we flicked at a few docked boats managed to pull in a few small Bream all on the 2inch shrimp 1/30 jig head and i know that allot of people will say that's way to light but i find that the 2inch shrimps work best on the lightest jig head possible and the bream really love the slow suspending action and can be a tournament winning technique and also be sure to use a light leader 2ld/6ld fluorocarbon the fluorocarbon really makes a difference because it tends to sink and reduces the drag on the bait and gives the lure a more natural action where mono floats and adds drag whilst giving the lure an unrealistic look. after the bite died down a bit we decided to do a bit of deep water blading so we started fishing 11/14 metres of water i had a trusty cyber vibe tied on and it wasn't too long before i landed our first keeper a good size Bream but unfortunately it was our only keeper. it was a hard day Breamin with a lot of by-catch with big Flathead coming on board small Tailor and a big Pike but all round a awesome day to be out on the water
